ROCs 2023 – New Coaching Appointments
The ROCs committee are very pleased to announce the appointment of Damian Boots as new A Grade and Club Coach for 2023.
For those who don’t know Damian he played 185 games for the ROCs in 80’s & 90’s, playing in the A Grade Premiership sides of 1986 & 1991. Damian also held the position as club President in 1994 & 1995.
In the last four years Damian has been A Grade and Club Coach of Old Ignatians Football Club and has had wonderful success in that period. Damian is an Accredited Level 3 Coach who we believe will bring a new level of professionalism, enthusiasm and belief to the club.
Joining Damian as the assistant A Grade Coach will be Adam West. Adam also played for ROCs in the 80’s & 90’s and was part of the 1991 A Grade Premiership side, he then had great success as the ROCs Reserves Coach, winning the 2003 D2 Reserves Premiership and then the 2005 D1 Reserves Premiership. Adam moved on to be Club Coach at Mitcham Football Club for several years before joining Damian as his assistant at Old Ignatians.
We welcome both Bootsy & Westie back to the ROCs and look forward to a great partnership in 2023.
