ROCS newest Honorary Life Members
Huge congratulations to ROCS newest Honorary Life Members, Mark Bradbrook, Stevo Edwards and Paul Arnfield. The nominations of all three were accepted by the commitee at the recent AGM and they bring the total number of ROCS Life Members to 22. In different ways each have contributed enormously to our club and we’re very proud to recognize their efforts.
Vale Michael Carey Senior
On behalf of the many past players and supporters of the ROCFC I’d like to pay tribute to Michael Carey senior who passed away last week at a grand old age. The Carey brothers (Brendan #77, Michael #173, Brian #300 and David #220) are legends of the club and combined played more games for the Roc’s than any other siblings. Michael and his wife Carmel were great supporters of the club and would regularly be sitting on the Wing in their deck chairs cheering the boys on. To the boys, Fiona and grandkids our condolences and a better man you would not have met.
