A Grade Report - R15
The A grade faced Port Districts at Campbelltown Oval on Saturday. We started the game very strongly and probably should have been further in front at half time if we took our chances.
This is the second game in a row we have faced this problem and the group is very frustrated by this.
In the second half performance we struggled to put Port Districts away and in the end I thought they outworked us in the last quarter, winning by 4 points.
Daniel McCallum played his 150th game on the weekend and played a fantastic game at Half back. Luke Manuel kicked three goals from the midfield in another quality game and James Butterworth was brave all day in the ruck. Others who played well were James Jordan, Lewis McCormack, Tullio DeMatteis and Cameron Devisser.
The group were shattered with the loss and will look to bounce back against SPOC this week.
Congratulations again to Chucky on his 300th. What a legend!

B Grade Report - R15
In what was a important game against an opposition side who beat us convincingly earlier in the year, the B Grade delivered an outstanding performance.
The side started the match with real intent and capitalised on chances with accurate kicking helping set up an impressive 10 goal victory over Port Districts, final scores: ROCs: 14.4.88 def Port: 4.9.33
The side has benefited from the past fortnight training with the senior squad and the work majority of the players have put in. Thanks to Murph and Will for providing the opportunity and JT for his efforts during the two week gap between games.
R.Lymn was outstanding, his work rate and toughness around the contest a highlight as well as his ability to find lots of the footy around the ground. D. Fitzsimons was brilliant also finding space and hurting the opposition with his carry and skill by foot. S. Dubois rucked all day and continued what has been a very consistent year providing our mids first use from stoppage. Our back 6 were brilliant, only conceded 4 goals to the opposition. This was largely lead by N.Karagich and J. Tarca who gave their opponents nothing and set us up defensively.
Given how even the competition is in terms of ladder position each remaining game from here onward is very important. We look forward to training this week and building on the performance Saturday as we prepare for SPOC this Saturday.

C Grade Report - R15
After a couple weeks break the C Grade fought hard but were just out muscled by an experienced Port District side losing 4.9 to 8.7.
Despite the loss the C grade showed plenty of fight and were never out of the game. Best on ground went to Will Sullivan who continues to perform week to week and this week should with coming off the oval with half of the mud on him. Henry Warren was next best with his pace around the footy not only in attack but in defence a highlight of his game. Daniel Leonard played his best game for the club in a defensive role. Kane Cini once again fought hard all day in the ruck with no break giving us every opportunity he could. Lewis Matsis rounds out the best players with a strong showing in the backlines and in the midfield this week. Skipper Timmy Lewis was our best team man with strong leadership from the back. Goal Kickers were Alex Pietrobon with 3 and Dylan Matthews with 1.
We come up against Saint Peter's this week who are equal with us on the ladder only sitting ahead on percentage. Should make for a great match up with finals just around the corner.

D Grade Report - R16
Rocs Academy squad travelled to Flinders Park this week as a huge milestone of 300 games from Rocs legend Chuck (Paul) Norris had the Rocs fired up & ready to continue our good form over the last few games.
Rocs continued to work extremely hard to continue our team play , with quick ball movement & run set up the game with our forward line in control, led by Chuck Norris who was running rampant in a dominant display. 1/4 time scores Rocs 3-2 vs Flinders Pk 1-3.
Rocs continued to dominate proceedings , keeping up the pressure around the contests and breaking away into attack , not letting the opposition take any chances to work back into the game. Rocs continued to score frequently to add 8-6 to Flinders Pks 1-9 during the rest of the match running out 50pt winners in a great display of Team footy. Final score Rocs 11-8 def Flinders Park 2-12.
Best players - R.McNamara, S.Tagg, P.Norris, J.McInerney, P.Russo. Best team man - F.Shanahan.
Goalkickers - P.Norris 4, S.Marotti 2, V .Clemente 2, S.Bridge 1, S.Tagg 1, H.Twiggs 1.
