A Grade Report - R12
The A Grade faced the top side, Prince Alfred Old Collegians, on Saturday away from home.
PAC controlled the game from the first bounce and the A grade were never a chance to win the game. We just didn't come ready to play and lacked intensity and effort all over the ground, although a lot of credit has to go to the way PAC played on the day, they were too good.
Tullio DeMatteis got back to playing his best football and was clearly best on the ground.
The coaching staff and players are embarrassed with how we performed on Saturday and look forward to rectifying the situation this coming Saturday against Goodwood saints at home. Once again, thank you for all your support and look forward to seeing you all on Saturday!

B Grade Report - R12
The B Grade were victors over PAOC in a hard fought, closely contested game - final scores: ROCs - 8.4.52 defeated PAC - 6.10.46
The side started the game well and lead PAC narrowly at every break. In what was a tight game goal kicking efficiency proved the main difference.
Goal kickers included D. Fitzsimons & N. Karagich with 3 and J. Scutella & J. Duperouzel both with very important last quarter goals.
M. Sutcliffe was outstanding down back, clearly the best player on the ground. H. Swanbury and L. Ball were also great in defence winning their positions and also creating nicely when going forward. N. Karagich competed well all day, bringing the ball to ground when often outnumbered as well as getting on the end of some well timed lead ups, kicking 3 goals. It was D. Fitzsimons best performance this year, playing through the midfield and getting forward to hit the scoreboard. D. Carbone and J. Duperouzel worked hard all game and were also very good.
Special thanks to Ryan Holm who stepped in as runner on short notice and did a great job.
Our attention now turns to preparing for an important game this weekend against the second placed Goodwood at home. Hope to see you all there!

C Grade Report - R12
In a hard fought tussle against the second place team in the competition, the boys were just unable to get the victory losing 9.13 67 to 9.7 61. In comparison to the last time we played PAOC where we lost by 87 points.
It was a great effort from the whole side who over the last 6 weeks of football have really come together and risen to all challenges that confront them.
Luke Allen was best on ground really driving the ball out of the midfield all day. The ever reliable Jack McCarron was next best and our best defender on the day. Again Kane Cini and Will Sullivan were in our best with constant effort and determination around the ground. Trent Versace was our 5th best and his experience playing in the midfield with some of the younger boys has been invaluable over the 6 week period.
Peter ‘Pistol’ Sianis was our best team man and played one of his best games for the year. Special mentions go out to Tom and Sam Warren, in the third quarter when one PAC player tried to run through Tom, Tom held his ground to slow him down and then his brother Sam came in and laid a huge tackle really showing the support the team has built recently.
Goal Kickers were Matthew Mezzini, Ben Davies and Kane Cini with 2, Dylan Matthews, Tom Matsis and Harry Carter with 1 each.
We take on top of the table Goodwood Saints this coming Saturday which will be a good challenge and after the last few weeks a challenge the boys will step up for.

D Grade Report - R12
Rocs Academy squad travelled away to foreign territory taking on SMOSH West Lakes under lights, on a huge Club day for our host's .
A very vocal & well lubricated home crowd tried their best to put the Rocs lineup under pressure as the game started but the Rocs played a great standard of team play & moving the ball quickly forward gave the Red & Blacks plenty of chances to hit the scoreboard , resulting in a dominant display for 17 mins booting 5-3 to zero. Unfortunately our boys stopped doing the harder things needed during any game & SMOSH blasted back into the contest booting 4 goals in 4 mins reducing our big lead to just 9 pts at 1/4 time with the colourful & even louder home crowd giving plenty of advice to a stunned Rocs huddle. 1/4 time scores Rocs 5-3 vs SMOSH 4-0.
The rest of proceedings provided a dour struggle for both sides as the momentum of dominance swayed in both teams favour, with goals at each end drying up Rocs adding 3-9 & SMOSH 2-6 to our 1/4 time scores to close out the game with a much needed victory by 18 pts.
Best players - S.Tagg, H.Twiggs, A Cream, H. Warren, J. Munchenberg (50 games). Best team man - S. Marotti.
Goalkickers - A.Cream 2, S.Tagg 2, H.Twiggs 2, S.Marotti 1, L. Matsis 1.
