It was another important round with all grades starting the second half of the season.
(Please see below for Coaches Reports).
Milestones :
Jason "LeBron" Cavuoto reached the 50 game mark on the weekend. He has already proven to be a hard-working clubman, on and off the field.
This Saturday, Steven " Stevie J" Marotti is set to play his 100th game for the club. After making his debut in 2012, Steven has played in the majority of the ROCS C Grade finals, and in the past 2 seasons has captained the D Grade.
This week the A/B and C grades are at home to Adelaide University, whilst the D's travel to Golden Grove (12.15).

A Grade Report - R10
The A Grade returned from their mid season break with a fantastic week on the training track and brought that form into the our Round 10 clash with the Unley Jets.
Starting the game of very strongly, we probably played our best four quarter game for the year. James Butterworth was clearly the most impactful player on the ground, giving our midfielders first use, while also following up at ground level with brilliant pressure and clean hands. Patrick Dawson looked very dangerous up forward kicking 4 goals.
Craig Holm returned injury, having an instant impact at stoppage and Luke Manuel and James Jordan played a great leaders games. The most pleasing part of Saturday’s performance was the contributions we got from every player. This is something that has been missing in the 1st half of the season.
We now turn our focus to the Uni Blacks this weekend at “The Quarry”. We look forward to the challenge and hope to see you all there.

B Grade Report - R10
The B grade registered a comfortable victory against the bottom placed Unley Mercedes, final scores: ROCs 11.15.81 - Unley 4.10.34
The team started the match slow but quickly gained the upper hand by playing more direct footy. Goal kicking let us down but overall it was a pleasing performance.
The side had six individual goal kickers as well as Nick Karagich who kicked a couple and Tom McCormack with 3. Better players included Elliot Shirley and Hayden Swanbury who were fantastic down back in setting us up. Sam Dubois continued his great form in the ruck. Daniel Carbone & Scott Gilbert who came down from the senior side were outstanding.
Focus now turns to a big week on the track as we prepare for Adelaide UNI at home which is an important day for the club being sponsors day. We look forward to seeing you all there.

C Grade Report - R10
In a game we expected to win, we didn’t do it the easy way but ended up running out 10.20 to 5.3 winners over a determined Unley Side.
A scrappy display across the board resulted in disjointed play, skill errors and several turnovers throughout the game. No one had their best game for the ROCs on Saturday but some of the better players included, Tim Lewis who was judged best on ground. Dylan Matthews was second best after kicking 5 goals and providing a very good contest at full forward. Returning from the B grade Max McKay was very reliable in defence. Daniel Franzon was 4th best with his attack on the ball and Luke Allen was 5th best being one of the better ball users on the day. Ben Davies was best team man on the day never giving up on any play.
Goal kickers were Dylan Matthews with 5, Henry Dawson with 2, Ben Davies, Sam Warren and Trent Versace all with 1.
Coming up against Adelaide Uni this week, the boys will need to improve in all areas of the game to keep our current winning streak alive.

D Grade Report - R10
Copybook wintery conditions greeted the competitors at Roc Park (CMO) with the Rocs Academy side hosting our traditional nemesis PAOC to start the second half of the season.
Surprisingly there was no wind to hinder the start of the match & a fast paced skilful contest unfolded with the Rocs holding sway by a solitary point by 1/4 time .
The second term had Prince's attacking early with Rocs just holding on as the imminent rain started to fall.
Rocs playing desperate footy surged forward to hit the scoreboard & maintain the ascendancy leading by 14pts at the long break.
1/2 time scores Rocs 6-3 vs PAOC 3-6.
Prince's came out snarling & lifted their intensity to start the 3rd term, dominating play & in no time charged to the lead & totally dominated the scoring with Rocs chasing jumpers and wasting opportunities to create team play.
Prince's again started the last stanza better & skipped away to a 3 goal lead . Credit to our players as we again fought back to finally fall short by 6 pts.
Final scores Rocs 9-5 def by PAOC 9-11.
Best players: A. Cream, S. Tagg, W. Sullivan, J.McInerney, H. Twiggs. Best team man - P. Russo.
Goalkickers - A Cream -2, P. Norris 2 , S. Marotti 1, T. Matsis 1, W. Sullivan 1, H. Twiggs 1, S. Millard 1.
