A Grade Report - R3
The A grade faced its toughest test so far this year against a very strong PAC team on Saturday. We started the game very well and were in control for most of the first half. A disappointing 3rd quarter proved to be very costly as PAC went into the final quarter 17 points up. I was very proud of the efforts of the boys and their persistence after PAC were 5 goals ahead in the final quarter.
The final margin in the end was 9 points. Sam Jonas was fantastic at centre half back rebounding many PAC attacks. Lewis McCormack (4 goals), Patrick Dawson (4 goals) and Stefan Lanzoni (3 goals) were shining lights up forward for us. Dylan Reinbrecht’s first half on ball was excellent and Tullio De Matteis worked hard all day on his wing.
Although the result was not what we wanted, there are many positives to take from the loss and we look forward to playing PAC again later this year.
It was great to see so many past players and the 1991 premiership team supporting the boys on the weekend.
We play Goodwood at Goodwood Oval and we are looking to bounce back strongly again this week- hope to see you all there.

B Grade Report - R3
The B grade came up against a well organised PAC team, final scores: ROCs - 6.5 def by PAOC - 9.10
Congratulations to J. Sutcliffe who played his 50th game for the club.
ROCs started the game slow and allowed PAC to move the ball too easily. We were comfortably beaten in the first three quarters of the game but to the teams credit, showed fight in the last quarter to out score the opposition by three goals whilst keeping them scoreless.
J. Massie backed up with another great performance and was best for us. J. Duperouzel, J. Sutcliffe and J. Tarca worked hard all day and T. Whittle was fantastic down back. There were three goal kickers K. Karagich, A. Richter and T. McCormack all kicking 2 goals.
The team is looking forward to bouncing back next week after a big week on the track.

C Grade Report - R3
On what was a fantastic day for the club celebrating the 30 year reunion of the 1991 Premiership, the C grade were no match for a strong PAOC outfit. Final scores PAOC 18-12 to 5-3. With not to many highlights on the day, it was one of those that you just want to forget and move onto next week.
Kane Cini and Josh O’Leary were our two best players on the day and did everything they could to keep us competitive in the game. Tom O’Leary, Darren Leggett and Harry Carter were the next best on a day where we got taught a football lesson, Our best team man was Jayden Smith who provided some dash from the backlines in just his third game. Congratulations goes to first gamer Ben Homan who has recently come out to the club and New dad John (Jack) McCarron on his first game for the club this year.
Next week against arguably the best team in the competition Goodwood saints will be a massive challenge for the C grade. Here is hoping we can bounce back and come back with the right attitude in what will be one of the toughest games of the year.

D Grade Report - R3
A "primetime" twilight fixture vs Smosh/West Lakes to end a fantastic Quadrella of Rocfc matchups had the Rocfc Academy side primed & eager to get our first win of season 2021.
The Rocs started on fire with great team play & run in numbers at every contest producing a blistering first stanza as Rocs booted 5-0 to Smosh 1-1
The boys continued on their merry way dominating the scoreboard with unselfish acts making sure that the best option was usually used, producing a further 10-12 with our defence holding the visitors to 1-3 to end the contest 86pts in front.
Players that performed consistently in a fantastic team effort - others were very unlucky to have missed the best 5 on the day.
Dan Cook- Best team man . Simmo Emanuele. Patty Russo. Seb Ciccarella 1 goal. Henry Dawson, Jack Thoday, Harry Twiggs 4 goals. An excellent effort from the full squadron of 25 players . Keeping the Momentum going is our challenge over the next few weeks.
