A's B's & C' vs UNI s and D's vs Port District

A Grade

ROCS played well early against Adelaide University (Campbelltown Memorial Oval) and were up by 4 goals at quarter time.

Uni then wrestled back the lead at the long break, and took a slender lead into 3 quarter time. In a disappointing last quarter, ROCS were totally outplayed and ended up losing 10.11 to 14.16. Murphy Short and Sam Jonas had outstanding games. Anthony McCarthy was as reliable as always. Nicholas Murphy and Flynn Pisani played well despite limited opportunities, and skipper James Jordan was inspirational.

The team is now out of the five, and in a scramble to play finals. This week it travels to Largs Reserve to play Port District.

Nicholas Murphy played his first  A Grade game for the ROCFC. Nick has been a great support to playing coach Will O'Malley at training and on match days. Daniel Carbone made a solid  A grade debut in round 5 versus Goodwood Saints, but unfortunately continues to be frustrated by hamstring issues. This week we welcomed back Flynn Pisani (Central District) who became the 126th player to register for ROCS this season.

The D Grade was away to Port District, and came home with the points, putting a smile on the face of birthday boy, "Supercoach" Edwards.
