A's B's & C's vs Goody Saints R15 & D's vs TTG R16
A Grade R15
On Saturday we ventured to Goodwood Oval which is traditionally a very tough place to win, especially when the opposition have a finals berth to play for. In a close 1st quarter we were able to go in at the break a couple of points ahead without playing our best football.
After quarter time we took control at stoppage which allowed us to score more freely and from that point in on we held a four to five goal margin for the remainder of the game.
Tullio DeMatteis played his best game for the year on the wing. Kieran Holland was dominant at Centre Half Back and Tim Baccanello was very clean in close on ball. Other players to play well included Tom O’Malley, Michael Coad (3 goals) and Peter Vorrasi.
This Saturday is our last home game for the year against university. We hope to see you all there.

A-Grade Coach
B Grade R15
ROCS were away to Goodwood Saints. Despite their best efforts, the B 's went down 6.5 to 10.10. (Half time : 1.2 to 4.3). Zac Noonan provided plenty of drive. Matt Leigh is gaining in confidence the longer the season goes.
Forwards Nick Karagich (2 goals) and Tom McCormack (3 goals) provided a direct avenue to goals, whilst Josh Massie and Jack Draper battled hard. Damien Polkinghorne has the side sitting in 6th position on percentage and faces a must win match against Adelaide University this week.
C Grade R15
The C Grade travelled to Goodwood and faced a formidable opponent. Still in touch at half-time (1.2 to 4.4), we were eventually beaten 3.4 to 12.7. The reliable John McCarron was best. Jarrod "General" Varley worked very hard all day, and was well supported by "Creamie", Riordan McNamara and Justin McInerney. The loss puts ROCS in a perilous position (6th), and this week face Adelaide University (4th), in another season defining clash at the Quarry.
D Grade R16
ROCS have already qualified for the finals, and on Saturday were more than competitive against top side Tea Tree Gully, at the Campbelltown Memorial Oval. Down by almost 4 goals at the main break, ROCS were defeated : 7.6 to 9.5.
George Connelly played his best game for the club and was adjudged best on ground. Not far behind were Fergus Shanahan and Max McKay. The experienced Matt Sauer played well, as did Jeremy O'Leary and Anthony Cream. Paul "Chuck" Norris was our only multiple goal-scorer with two. This week the "Invitational ROCS XVIII" is away to Golden Grove (2.15 pm) in their last match prior to the finals.
