Round 6 Report
R6 vs Henley A's' B's & C's & D's R7
Round 6 was played at Thebarton/Aldi Oval, under perfect conditions.
D Grade
The D's won their Round 7 game against Mawson Lakes on a forfeit, and are now in outright third position. Next week they have an important clash with 6th placed Adelaide University (Park 10).
C Grade
Paul Norris played his 250th game for ROCS (Chucks 250th Article Link), and Dylan McPeake his 50th. Whilst the team was gallant in the first three quarters, it could not withstand the last quarter onslaught from the unbeaten Henley - and were eventually defeated 8.6 to 16.14. John Harrison was a standout with his 3 goals. Jason Cavuoto was impressive in his first game after a lengthy break. Dylan McPeake was excellent in his milestone game. Others to play well included Daniel Baillie, Matt Sauer and Matthew McPeake. Ben Davies and Dylan McPeake kicked two each. Next match is away to Port District. Both teams have won 2 and lost 3.

B Grade
Elliot Shirley played his 100th game. The B's got off to a very good start against Henley, and in an entertaining game, ran out winners 13.7 to 11.9. Dylan Fitzsimons (2 goals) was our best player, and is improving rapidly. Elliot Shirley was rock solid in his 100th appearance for the club. Adam Richter (3 goals) was an important contributor especially up forward, and others to play very well included Scott Gilbert and Peter Vorrasi. Tyler Gava was our other multiple goal-scorer with 2.The B's have moved into second spot, and face Port District (Largs Reserve) on Saturday.
A Grade
The A's continued on their winning way, beating Henley by 49 points. Down by 12 points at half time, ROCS scored 16.2 after the main break, and won 18.8 to 9.13. Our main goal-scorers were Heath Commane with 6, Paul Fantasia 3, Michael Coad and Flynn Pisani 2 each.
Craig Holm was best on ground. Jack Nelligan and Will O'Malley were fantastic at stoppages and around the ground, whilst Heath Commane, Tim Baccanello and Dan McCallum (Best Team Man) all had good games. The club now travels to Largs Reserve to face Port District in a triple-header.
