Paul Norris to play 250th game for ROCS this weekend

Congratulations to Paul "Chuck" Norris on reaching the 250 game milestone this Saturday at Thebarton, in the early game of the triple-header against Henley (10.15 am start).

Paul started his football with the St. Joseph's Hectorville Year 4/5's. The Saints were undefeated, and his team-mates included other future ROCS players, Chris Nutchey, Xavier Ryan and Damian Cialini.

He attended Rostrevor College in 1995-1999, and played 8A's and 9A's. He missed Year 10 through injury, and returned to play 2nd XVIII's in his last 2 years at the College.

In 2000 Paul had a season with the Norwood Under 19's, before moving to Rocerland in 2001.

The 35 year-old has since played at A, B and C grade levels. Chuck has been coached in the A's by Tim Hart and Matthew Dawes, and has been an important part of C Grade premierships in 2004 and 2013.

He has quietly worked his way up the ladder of overall games played for the ROCFC, and is currently in 9th spot.

His brother Glenn has joined Paul in the C's in recent years, as has their father Keith, who is Steve Edwards' Team Manager. With the continued support of his lovely wife Mai and recent addition William James, Chuck is well within reach of the magical 300.

Congratulations Chuck from everyone at ROCERLAND
