ROCFC win Australian Champions League trophy

Australian Champions League Competition

ROCS travelled to Park No. 2  (St. Dominic's) to play in the Australian Champions League competition for the first time. In a Lightning Carnival type competition, the matches consisted of 15 minute halves.

ROCS won both its Pool A games :

ROCS 5.2 def. Barossa Districts 2.5
ROCS 4.7 def.Old Ignatians 2.2

ROCS then played Waikerie in the Grand Final, after they had topped Pool B, with wins over Kadina and Lucindale.

Grand Final scores :
ROCS 7.4 def. Waikerie 0.1

Jack Nelligan won the medal for best player in the final.
Others to play well during the competition included acting-captain James Jordan, Paul Fantasia, James Butterworth, Kieran Holland, Tim Baccanello, Tullio DeMatteis and youngsters Patrick Dawson, Lewis McCormack and Flynn Pisani.
