Round 18 & Finals Update
Finals update
The ROCS C grade were not able to get us away to our usual good start in out triple-header against Henley, finally going down 6.10 to 9.9. Joe Tarca was our best, Nick McDonough and Sam Tagg continued with their excellent form, whilst Tyler Gava and Michael Carpinelli were solid contributors.
The B Grade finished on a high, trouncing Henley : 16.10 to 7.6. Bailey Nisbett was superb, closely followed by Lachlan Sutcliffe and Ryan Grigg. Scott Littler and Josh Weaver also worked hard and were very constructive around the ground. Ben Jonas and Matthew Pedlar continued their improvement at this level. John Harrison and Adam Richter were extremely dangerous up forward, with 6 and 4 goals, respectively.
After a very slow start to the year, the team played with renewed enthusiasm, and were not far away from sneaking into the major round. The ROCFC wishes to thank Damien Polkinghorne for returning to coach the team mid-season, and at short notice.
Good luck to our B and C graders in the medal count on Thursday, September 1.

The A's played well to defeat Henley by over 11 goals. Paul Fantasia (5 goals) was our best player. Captain Will O'Malley and Craig Holm also played well, as did Tim Baccanello, Dan McCallum, Tom Hurley (3 goals) and Heath Commane (5 goals).
This week will see two of our teams start their finals campaign, at Campbelltown Memorial Oval.
The C Grade will play Henley in the Qualifying Final (10.00 am), and the A's will clash with Salisbury North in the Elimination Final (2.15 pm).
Coaches Steve Edwards (C's) and Tom Wigley (A's) will be hoping to reverse recent results against their respective opponents.
Adelaide Uni will play Henley in the B Grade Elimination Final (12.15pm) - before our A Grade final.
The ROCFC encourage all supporters to turn up in numbers on Saturday, in what will hopefully be a great day for the club.
