Round 12 Report

ROCS vs Port Districts at Campbelltown.

Round 12 saw all three ROCS sides play Port Districts at Campbelltown.

The C's had a resounding 84 point win (14.13 to 2.1), and regained top spot as a result. Tom O'Leary was impressive, Nick McDonough and Sam Tagg (3 goals) continued their fine form, whilst Dylan McPeake and Matt Sauer were also high on the best player list.
This week the C grade travel to Camden Oval, in a rare 2.15pm stand alone clash, against PHOS.

Sam Bowler played his 150th game in the B's, and fittingly the side got over the line (5.17 to 7.3). Sam was excellent in his milestone game, and at 26, has many more years of senior football in front of him. Inaccuracy in front of goals kept the opposition in the game, but ROCS got the result they deserved, and the win gets them off the bottom of the ladder, and in touch with the top five. The best players included Will Mead, Sam Bowler, Mick Aloisi, Darren Leggett, Ryan Grigg and Henry Schilling.

The A's had a strong win against a team they drew against earlier in the season. Led by Heath Commane (7 goals) in his 50th game for  the club, ROCS were victorious 18.10 to 5.5. Craig Holm continues to find a lot of the footy, Kieran Holland was the dominant defender, whilst Tim Baccanello (3 goals) and Dan McCallum provided plenty of run around the ground. The victory puts the team within one point of third spot, and the double chance.

Next week the A's are away to ladder leaders Prince Alfred Old Collegians, and the players will be hoping to see a strong contingent of ROCS supporters.
