Round 4 at home was the ROCs A grade best performance for the year so far.
In emerging winners against the previously unbeaten PAC by 5 goals we have demonstrated that at our best we can match it with anyone.
This win should give all our players some real confidence as we head down to Henley to take on the Henley Sharks this Saturday.
On a negative note we are looking for someone with a new coin that has two sides, as to this stage we have yet to win a coin toss and have had to kick against a strong breeze in the first quarter in every game so far.
The game against PAC was a tough contest for most of the day and it was our pressure, intensity and tackling that were the highlights.
It was also our most even performance across the playing group with Anthony Medhurst securing the players vote for MVP and Craig Holm receiving the coaches nod.
Ollie Wilkie continues to improve and Mitch Sutcliffe and Paul Fantasia demonstrated why they are so important to our success with strong performances.
Nick Hombsch continued his good form with another 3 goals and Meds wound back the clock with a decade high four.
Now to see if we are good enough to secure two wins in a row!
