The ROCFC committee, players and supporters send their condolences to the Franzon, Lewis, Kelly and Pisani families on the sad loss of Rita Franzon (mother of Tony Franzon) who passed away on Thursday 20th June 2013.
Rita and the Franzon family did an enormous amount for the club in years gone by. Rita was the person to start the canteen back in the mid 1980’s from a tent on the Main Oval together with her family sponsoring the club for many years through the Bath Hotel.
Among other things she also organised many fundraisers and many team meetings, social functions and premiership celebrations were held at the Franzon home at Rostrevor.
The ROCFC is forever in their debt.
