After such a great first half of the season it was very disappointing for the A grade to narrowly miss out on finals action in 2012, especially knowing we were a genuine chance had we made it. With this in mind we must not take any opportunities for granted. It is crucial we look at this preseason as an opportunity to improve; individually and as a team. Team improvement will only happen if together we put in the hard work to be fitter, stronger and ultimately better footballers to make the ROCS a better TEAM.
With the B’s and C’s both making it to the prelim finals last season, the opportunities that 2013 present those sides are obvious!
We are always open to new players - of all abilities - joining our club. So please forward this on to anyone interested in coming out and playing for the ROCS in 2013 that hasn’t received it. Preseason info will also be on the ROCS’ facebook page and website soon.
I look forward to seeing you all out at training.
Feel free to call me if you want to discuss anything about yourself or the club.
Tom Wigley
