ROCFC is pleased to announce the new A Grade Captain and Vice-Capt are Chris Pahl and Will O'Malley.
They have shown to be excellent clubmen, as well as fine footballers, and we wish them well in their leadership roles for 2012.
The club also wishes to thank Drew Litster, who has decided to step down as captain to concentrate on playing, for his outstanding leadership in the past 3 seasons.
Training recommenced at the school on January 10.
Over 100 players have attended training thus far under new coach Matthew Dawes, with most nights averaging 40 plus.
Missing from last season are Peter Bacanello (overseas), Rohan Watson (interstate), whilst a couple of others remain undecided at this stage.
Additions for 2012 include Dwayne Catterwell (QAFL), John Corbett (available), Luke Crouch (returning), Josh Daniele (Salisbury West), Paul Fantasia (returning from overeseas),
Simon Fitzgerald (UTS-NSW), Kieran Holland (returning from overseas), Brad Manuel (Ironbank), Damien Polkinghorne (Bute), Luke Polkinghorne (Birdwood), Josh Robinson (South Clare),
Luke Sheridan (Roopena), and Tom Wigley (recovered).
Several other old scholars, currently training with SANFL clubs, have committed to playing for ROCS should their services not be required by their League clubs.
Trial Games - Leading up to Round 1 (14/4), we have trials against Flinders Park at Thebarton (25/3), and SHOCS at Cornerstone College (31/3), as well as internal trials in mid-March.
